The BC Total Rewards Network (BCTRN) is the premier hub for compensation, benefits,  and pension professionals across the province. We are growing, and we’re looking for 3 dedicated volunteers to help us lead the conversation on the future of Total Rewards.

We focus on "Micro-Volunteering", highly structured, high-impact roles that respect your busy schedule, requiring only 1.5 to 2 hours of your time per week.

Content & Pipeline Coordinator

The Role: You are our "Editor-in-Chief." You’ll ensure BCTRN provides a steady stream of  expert-led insights by managing our guest contributor pipeline.

  • What the Role Entails:
    • Expert Outreach: Invite 1–2 TR thought leaders (members or external experts) per week to contribute guest blog posts or "expert takes" on current  trends.
    • Topic Strategy: Use insights from the Engagement Lead to suggest specific,  timely angles to contributors (e.g., "Could you write 400 words on the impact of X on merit budgets?").
    • Asset Collection: Serve as the point of contact for authors collecting their text, bios, and headshots.
    • Calendar Management: Maintain a 3-month rolling content calendar to ensure a consistent publishing rhythm.
    • The Hand-off: Package the final materials and submit them via the Blog Intake Form for the Website Manager.
  • Ideal Candidate: An organized professional who enjoys "curating" knowledge and connecting with industry peers.
  • Total Rewards ROI: Develop direct relationships with the province’s top TR experts and gain experience in professional content strategy.
